PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage power return for securing a required power from a power saving state, and system recovery for running image processing, individually for an image processing request received externally.SOLUTION: When a job is requested, the power supply source is switched, at first, from a power storage unit 241 to a commercial power supply 242 by a power supply switching request. Subsequently, only when restoration is request within a prescribed time, processing for restoring a main controller 200 is performed. Consequently, the main controller 200 is restored quickly without having to take the time for switching power. When a job request is cancelled, restoration of the main controller 200 is avoided. Consequently, energy saving and convenience can be combined. |
