PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split core in which a plurality of cores (dust cores), produced by compression molding magnetic powder coated with an insulation coat, are arranged and magnetic characteristics can be enhanced reliably as compared with prior art.SOLUTION: In the split core where a closed circuit is formed by placing a plurality of middle cores 20 between the end faces 110 of a pair of side cores 10, each core 10, 20 consists of a dust core produced by compression molding magnetic powder coated with an insulation coat. The facing surfaces of the cores 10, 20 (end face 110 of the side core and end face 210 of the middle core) consist of punch surfaces the insulation coat of which is not destroyed during compression molding, thus ensuring insulation of the through surface of magnetic flux. |
