PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination angle detector capable of more accurately detecting an inclination angle and detecting an inclination angle of a vertical axis of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In calculating an inclination angle of a vehicle from a gravity acceleration component among accelerations detected by an acceleration sensor in a preset prescribed cycle, an error component of the gravity acceleration component is reduced by a low-pass filter, the gravity acceleration component is inputted by an effective range filter to the low-pass filter when the gravity acceleration component is within an effective range, and the same output value as a previous output value from the low-pass filter is outputted when the gravity acceleration component is not within the effective range. When the gravity acceleration component is within the effective range, an amount of change of the effective range is added to/is subtracted from the previous output value of the low-pass filter to set an effective range. When the gravity acceleration component is not within the effective range, the amount of change of the effective range is added to/subtracted from upper limit/lower limit values within the effective range respectively to widen the effective range. |
