PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a mounting head compact with as small a pitch interval of a plurality of nozzles arranged in two arrays as possible.SOLUTION: A mounting head 10 includes a plurality of nozzles 22 arranged in first and second nozzle arrays extending in a first direction (X axis direction), and a nozzle pair comprises one of nozzles 22 in the first nozzle array which are adjacent to each other in a second direction (Y axis direction) orthogonal to the first direction and one of nozzles 22 in the second nozzle array which are adjacent to each other in the second direction. The mounting head includes: a plurality of arms 36 which support nozzles of nozzle pairs respectively and are arranged in the first direction; a plurality of raising and lowering devices 32 which lower the arms respectively; and nozzle selecting mechanisms 34 and 42 which allow selective lowering of at least one nozzle 22 of each nozzle pair when the arms 36 are lowered by the raising and lowering devices 32. Two raising and lowering devices 32 for nozzle pairs adjacent to each other in the first direction are arranged so that the first and second nozzle arrays are interposed therebetween. |
