METHOD FOR GRANULATING IRON-MAKING DUST OR MIXTURE OF IRON-MAKING DUST AND IRON ORE FINE AND GRANULATED SUBSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing granulated substances having excellent crushing strength and granulation properties of pseudo-particles using iron-making dust including a Ca component, Mg component or C component, or a mixture of iron-making dust and iron ore fines; and granulated substances of iron-making dust.SOLUTION: When iron-making dust including a Ca component or a Mg component is used, a low molecular surfactant including a sulfonic acid group and the like whose molecular weight is 320 to 450 is used as a granulating agent. When the iron-making dust including a C component in addition to the Ca component and the Mg component is used, the granulated substances are manufactured by increasing the amount of the low molecular surfactant including the sulfonic acid group and the like or by using a polyoxyethylene ether-based compound whose molecular weight is less than 1,000 in addition to the low molecular surfactant including the sulfonic acid group and the like.
