PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an area activated by corona discharge in accordance with an image.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 includes: a print head 71 where a plurality of nozzles 71a ejecting ink to a medium M are formed; a platen 73 which supports the medium just under the plurality of nozzles; a discharge part which emits corona to the medium; a discharge area driving mechanism which moves an area of the corona emitted from the discharge part in a main scanning direction; a counter electrode 53 which is opposed to the discharge part; a conveyance part which conveys the medium from a space between the discharge part and the counter electrode to a space between the print head and the platen; and a controller 4 which controls the print head and the conveyance part on the basis of image data, thereby forming the image composed of the ink reaching the medium. |
