PURPOSE: A refrigerator and a control method thereof are provided to obtain improved energy efficiency and minutely correspond to the change of a cooling load by controlling the amount of a refrigerant supplied to at least one among a plurality of evaporators. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a compressor (1), a condenser (2), a first evaporator (5), a second evaporator (8), one or more distributors (50), a plurality of first refrigerant flow paths (15,16), one or more second refrigerant flow paths (6,7), and a plurality of capillary tubes (3,4). One or more distributors distribute a refrigerant condensed by the condenser to at least one among the first evaporator and the second evaporator. A plurality of the first refrigerant flow path supplies the refrigerant distributed by one or more distributors to the first evaporator. One or more second refrigerant flow paths supply the refrigerant distributed by one or more distributors to the second evaporator. A plurality of the capillary tubes is individually included in the first refrigerant flow path and the second refrigerant flow path. |
