PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp capable of enhancing designability as a groove part can be seen as a shadow pattern at the time of non-lighting and capable of enhancing light intensity as the groove part can be seen bright at the time of lighting.SOLUTION: In a vehicle lamp in which a bulb (a light source) 5 is housed in a lamp chamber 4 demarcated by a housing (a reflector 2) and an outer lens covering an opening of the housing and a groove part 2A is formed in the reflector 2, an entire surface of the groove part 2A of the reflector 2 serves as a reflection face 2b. At the time of non-lighting of the vehicle lamp, the groove part 2A of the reflector 2 can be seen dark and a shadow pattern of a stripe shape is formed, and thereby, designability can be enhanced when the vehicle lamp is seen from a front side. Then, at the time of lighting of the vehicle lamp, since the entire surface of the groove part 2A of the reflector 2 functions as the reflection face 2b and the light reaching the groove part 2A from the bulb 5 is reflected by the reflection face 2b of the groove part 2A and emitted from the outer lens, an entire part of the reflector 2 including the groove part 2A shines and light intensity of the vehicle lamp can be enhanced. |
