PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration actuator device that can exert good drive performance in a high-speed range and a low-speed range.SOLUTION: A vibration actuator device 10 includes: a plurality of vibration actuators 110 and 120, each of which has an electromechanical conversion element 13 of which vibration is excited by a drive signal, an elastic body 14 which is joined to the electromechanical conversion element 13 and generates a progressive vibration wave on a drive surface 18a by vibration, a relative motion member 12 pressed and contacted with the drive surface 18a, and a pressing member 22 for pressing and contacting the drive surface 18a with the relative motion member 12, where each of the vibration actuators 110 and 120 has a different contact state from the other regarding the contact state between the drive surface 18a and the relative motion member 12; and a drive unit 200 having a drive signal input section 201 for inputting a drive signal to the vibration actuators 110 and 120 and a selection section 202 for selecting at least one of the vibration actuators 110 and 120 and for inputting the drive signal to the selected vibration actuators 110 and 120. |
