PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide; a detection system capable of correcting a detected position and obtaining the brightness information of a photo-object perpetually and accurately even in a case where positional and directional shifts occur between an imaging device and the position of the photo-object that is a detection target; a signal processing method for the system; and a program.SOLUTION: A detection system includes: a position storage part 144 capable of storing information related to a position including a detection range of plural photo-object images; and a photo-object position determination part 17 capable of searching detection information obtained by a determination part 16 for position and size of the photo-object in all images to determine the position of the photo-object including a detection range, and storing the detection information including the detection range related to the photo-object in the position storage part. Further, the photo-object position determination part 17 includes a tracking process function of tracking whether a shift in the detection position has occurred and correcting the positional information of the position storage part while adjusting a correcting state and time by matching the elapsed time of a positional shift.
