PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tiller with a parking brake that can cut off engine power and operate the parking brake by a simple operation using a shift lever of a transmission.SOLUTION: A walking type tiller with a parking brake includes a travel device (5), a tilling device (6), a gear shift type transmission (3) transmitting power by a shift lever (3s), and a braking device for parking. The transmission (3) has a shift gear (43) arranged at a second transmission shaft (42) transmitting engine power received by a first transmission shaft (3a), and a restraining part fitted to restrain the shift gear in a predetermined shift position is provided to constitute the braking device. The braking device of simple constitution permits stable parking by a simple operation of the shift lever (3s). |
