PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel cleaning apparatus of a passenger conveyor capable of automatically cleaning the surface of a skirt guard panel all the time during operation without stopping the operation of the passenger conveyer, and preferably keeping a safety management by applying lubricants.SOLUTION: A panel cleaning apparatus of a passenger conveyor is provided with: a plurality of steps 1 moving while endlessly circulating; skirt guard panels 7 disposed at both sides of the step 1 while facing side faces of the step 1; cleaning application members 15 provided on upper parts of the side faces of the steps 1, slidingly contacting with the skirt guard panels 7 according to the endless circulation movement of the steps 1, and allowing the impregnation of lubricants applied to the skirt guard panels 7; and lubricant replenishing devices 20 capable of replenishing the lubricants to the cleaning application members 15 according to the endless circulation movement of the steps 1. The cleaning application member 15 is formed of a material like felt, and detachably attached to the upper part of the side face of the step 1. |
