PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric motor of a compressor which can be miniaturized when it is used for a refrigeration cycle device for an R22 refrigerant, and can be used for a refrigeration cycle device for an R32 refrigerant while suppressing deterioration of production efficiency and increase of production facility costs of the compressor.SOLUTION: An electric motor 100 includes: a stator 12 formed by winding a coil 20 around a stator slot 12b; and a rotator 11 arranged at a predetermined interval with the stator 12 on the inner peripheral surface of the stator 12, in which the coil 20 is impregnated with varnish, and the coil 20 wound around the stator slot 12b of the stator 12 is impregnated with the varnish while vibrating the stator 12 in an impregnation process of the coil 20 with the varnish.
