PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator including a door having a structure for protecting a vacuum heat insulating material from burrs and sharp edges, etc., of a hard member, a metal fitting or a metal.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a heat insulating box body 3 formed by filling a heat insulating material between an inner box and an outer box and opened on a front face; and a plurality of doors for closing an opening of the front face side of the heat insulating box body. The door includes: a flat box-shaped outer plate 31 opened on a side face on a refrigerator indoor side; an inner plate in a flat box shape opened to the front of the refrigerator and fitted to an inner periphery of the outer plate 31; a vacuum heat insulating material 33 arranged between the outer plate 31 and the inner plate so as to be held by the entire opposed surfaces of them; and a protective means 36 for protecting an outer peripheral part of the vacuum heat insulating material. |
