A SPEEDY RESPONSE THERMOCOUPLE PREVENTING DECREASE OF INSULATION RESISTANCE AT HIGH TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: A fast response thermocouple for decreasing high-temperature insulation resistance is provided to effectively prevent shunt errors caused by ambient temperature higher than the surface temperature of a target object. CONSTITUTION: A fast response thermocouple for decreasing high-temperature insulation resistance includes a pair of sheathed thermocouples (10), a sheath fixating insulation pipe (20), a metallic protection pipe (30), and a contact point. A positive element wire is removed from one of the sheathed thermocouples, and a negative element wire is removed from the rest of the sheathed thermocouples. The sheathed thermocouples are inserted into the sheath fixating insulation pipe. The sheath fixating insulation pipe is inserted into the metal protection pipe. A space unit is filled with insulating materials so that the metallic protection pipe fixates the insulating pipe. The element wires of different poles drawn out from the sheathed thermocouples form a closed circuit on the end portion of the insulation pipe so that the contact point is formed.
