PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collation object determination device capable of suppressing reduction of collation accuracy even when a biological information acquisition part is changed.SOLUTION: A collation object determination device 1 determines a collation object in biometric authentication. The collation object determination device 1 includes a biological information acquisition unit 1a, an abnormality detection unit 1b and a collation object determination unit 1c. The biological information acquisition unit 1a acquires biological information 5 from a biological information acquisition part 4. The abnormality detection unit 1b detects an abnormal part 6 in the biological information acquisition part 4 on the basis of the biological information 5. The biological information acquisition part 4 sometimes includes the abnormal part 6. The collation object determination unit 1c determines whether or not information in the abnormal part 6 is to be collated, and decides biological information 7 to be collated on the basis of a determination result. The collation object determination device 1 registers the biological information 7 as registration information 2 by a registration unit 1e when functioning as a registration device, and collates the biological information 7 with the registration information 2 by a collation unit 1d when functioning as a collation device. |
