PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet loading device in which positioning in a sheet width direction is accurately achieved even when a gap exists between a restricting means disposed at a predetermined fixed position and a sheet housed in a tray, and to provide an image forming device with the sheet loading device.SOLUTION: When the number of sheets P loaded on a sheet tray 500 is small, a restricting member 71 is brought into contact with side end edges of the sheets P by a biasing force PW1. When the number of sheets P loaded on the sheet tray 500 is large, the side end edges of the stacked sheets P press a third restricting part 742 outward in the width direction of the sheets. Consequently, the restricting member 71 rotates around a rotational axis 75 to the side end edges of the sheets P. Accordingly, the restricting member 71 comes into contact with the side end edges of the sheets P by a biasing force PW2 larger than the biasing force PW1. |
