PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing support device and the like enabling simple specification of the optimal arrangement of a camera.SOLUTION: A photographing support device 1 includes a condition obtainment part 141, a photo-object state information obtainment part 143, a camera information DB 135, a camera information obtainment part 144, and an optimal placement distance obtainment part 145. The condition obtainment part 141 obtains, from a user, photographic information 132 including a photographic range and the size of a photo-object. The photo-object state information obtainment part 143 obtains a state of the photo-object on the basis of the photographic information 132. The camera information obtainment part 144 obtains information of a camera provided with functionality suitable for photographing a photo-object in the obtained state from the camera information DB 135 on the basis of the obtained photographic information 132. The optimal placement distance obtainment part 145 obtains an optimal placement distance representing an optimal distance between the camera and the photo-object in the photographing direction on the basis of the obtained photographic information 132 and specification information included in the obtained camera information. |
