PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device that reduces variation in error between a requested output torque and an output torque as much as possible, even if the requested output torque varies when securing reserve torque for a case in which the requested output torque increases.SOLUTION: In at least one of idle operation and warming-up operation (S404: Yes), an engine control device acquires a reserve rate from a matching map of reserve rates set according to, for example, water temperatures (S408), calculates at least one of reserve torque for idling and reserve torque for warming-up according to basic requested output torque and the reserve rate (S410), and determines reserve torque based upon the reserve torque for idling, the reserve torque for warming-up, and a requested external torque (S412). Based upon the determined reserve torque, a suction amount and an ignition delay angle amount are acquired (S414), a throttle opening is acquired from the suction amount (S416), and an ignition period is acquired from the ignition delay angle amount (S418). |
