PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of perspective distortion capable of quantitatively measuring perspective distortion of a plate material having light transmissivity without performing comparison to a reference.SOLUTION: A background 2 in which a plurality of straight lines having a predetermined width and extending in parallel with each other are drawn at a predetermined distance, and imaging means 1 that is arranged right in front of the background 2 are used. A plate material having light transmissivity is taken as a sample 3; the sample 3 is arranged between the background 2 and the imaging means 1 in a direction to have a predetermined angle relative to an optical axis of the imaging means 1; and the degree of distortion is quantified on the basis of a waveheight and a wavelength of a wave form that appears in an image photographed by the imaging means 1.
