PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulation device which lessens a slope of a plurality of envelope objects stacked flatly, and accumulates as equally as possible, and an accumulation method thereof.SOLUTION: The accumulation device includes: a switchable stand-by box which temporarily stands by the envelope objects to be forwarded; a rotating table which has an aperture fitting to the envelope objects, and a shutter part for opening and closing the aperture, and accumulates the envelope objects to be forwarded in a state in which the shutter part is closed; an inclined tray which opens the shutter part at a position where a rotary position of the rotating table is reversed, thereby accumulating the dropping envelope objects alternately; and a push plate which moves along an inclined direction of the inclined tray to eject a bundle of the envelope objects. The envelope objects are alternately accumulated every given amount, whereby a height of the bundle of the envelope objects is made uniform to let an upper face of the bundle not cause a slope. |
