PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the waste of index paper sheets which have been apt to be wasted conventionally and to further improve productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of paper feeding trays storing index paper sheets each having a tab at a predetermined position and inserted between content paper sheets; and a control part controlling a job and feeding of the index paper sheets and enabling setting related to the stored index paper sheet in each paper feeding tray. During execution of the job, in accordance with insertion information on the index paper sheets and setting in each paper feeding tray and in accordance with setting of a tab position used at each insertion position of the index paper sheet, the control part can automatically select the tray in which the index paper sheet having the tab position is stored. During execution of the job, in accordance with an order of a tab position corresponding to the index number at each insertion position of the index paper sheet, the control part can automatically select the paper feeding tray in which the index paper sheet having the tab position is stored. |
