PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device including a catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure which can be formed by using inexpensive glass paper on the market as a base material, which does not need large-sized equipment such as an immersion tank and a drying unit of a conventional catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure, whose production cost is low, which can easily perform regeneration treatment of solid content in a gas to be treated even when a cell thereof is plugged with the solid content, for example, in a cleaning treatment of an exhaust gas, which can prevent the contact area of the gas to be treated from being reduced and pressure loss from being increased, and to provide a method for producing a treatment device including the catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: A treatment device 10 including a catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure is configured such that functional catalyst-carrying corrugated glass paper 1 and functional catalyst-carrying tabular glass paper 2 are alternately layered on each other without being stuck to each other to form the catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure 1 and the formed catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure 1 is packed in a casing 4. |
