PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start printing after confirming that a label printer is in a proper head lock state to a paper used.SOLUTION: A platen roller 11 which presses a paper 15 while holding the paper 15 to be printed therebetween and a thermal head 12 are oppositely disposed. A head holding member 13 holds the thermal head 12, includes a head lock mechanism capable of adjusting the gap between the thermal head 12 and the platen roller 11 applying an urging force to the thermal head 12 with a spring 18 in a direction opposite to the platen roller 11 side, presses the thermal head 12 to the platen roller 11 side against the urging force of the spring 18, and changes the gap between the thermal head 12 and the platen roller 11 to make an adjustment of the head lock state. |
