PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ILPC characteristics in a radio communication device incorporating a power mode switching function.SOLUTION: In adjusting the transmission power of a radio communication device incorporating a transmission unit having a plurality of power modes and further a transmission power control table including relationship between a gain control value to control the gain of an amplifier in the transmission unit and transmission power, which table is provided corresponding to the plurality of power modes: (A) An adjustment process in which to create the transmission power control table by measuring the transmission power corresponding to each gain control value is executed separately for each mode; (B) Switching between modes is executed, and a process in which to measure the transmission power before and after the mode switching is executed on a plurality of predetermined gain control values and the transmission power control tables corresponding to each mode which were created in the adjustment process (A) are corrected by the measured transmission power; (C) If a difference in transmission power between adjacent gain control values is off standard, information notifying to be skipped is stored in the transmission power column of the relevant gain control value. |
