PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device enabling stable communication between a plurality of electronic devices connected in series.SOLUTION: A communication device 121, which is inserted and connected to a serial communication path between a host controller 101 and a communication device 141 at a succeeding stage, includes a buffer 124 for tentatively storing first data received from the communication device 141 at the succeeding stage. A communication state between the host controller 101 and the communication device 141 is monitored, and during transmission of second data to be transmitted from the own communication device to the host controller 101, the communication device 121 stores the first data into the buffer 124, and transmits the first data stored in the buffer 124 to the host controller 121 by the trigger of transmission completion of the second data. |
