PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump cycle device capable of preventing frequent transitioning to overload protection control in a boiling-up operation.SOLUTION: In executing a boiling-up operation by a heat pump cycle device 100, a control means 60 executes a boiling-up operation protecting control to reduce rotational frequencies of a compressor 1 and a fan 7 according to a taken hot water storage tank temperature, and to increase a rotational frequency of a circulation pump 30, when the hot water storage tank temperature taken from a hot water storage tank temperature sensor 58 becomes a first threshold temperature or higher. Further, the control means 60 executes a boiling-up operation returning control to keep the compressor 1, the fan 7 and the circulation pump 30 at prescribed rotational frequencies, and to keep an opening of an expansion valve 4 at an opening corresponding to the rotational frequency of the compressor 1, when the hot water storage tank temperature is a second threshold temperature or higher in returning to the boiling-up operation after transitioning to the overload protection control in the boiling-up operation. |
