PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling joining quality in press fitting joining capable of controlling quality of a joining article immediately and at high precision, in a method for controlling joining quality in press fitting joining.SOLUTION: When a second member 8 is press-fitted into a hole part 7 of a first member 6 and is subjected to press fitting joining by solid-phase diffusion, a temperature of a joining part 12 associated with energization is controlled as follows: the temperature of the joining part 12 at energizing is previously measured by a temperature-measuring means 10, and though the temperature of the joining part rises in association with increasing a current of the energization or lengthening an energizing time, a temperature, in a range of a saturated state where the temperature does not rise even when the current is increased or the energizing time is lengthened, is measured as a saturated temperature. When performing the press fitting joining, in case the temperature of the joining part 12 is in the saturated temperature, a joining article joined by such press fitting joining temperature is judged as a non-defective article, meanwhile, in case the temperature is not in the saturated temperature, the joining article joined by such press fitting joining temperature is judged as a defective article. |
