PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive connection body for a steel pipe pile with excellent workability, capable of maintaining accuracy of rotation around an axis of the steel pipe pile without erroneously falling into a hollow steel pipe during work, and a manufacturing method.SOLUTION: In a connection body for a steel pipe pile having a configuration to be roughly C-shaped in the plan view having a cut part for separating a peripheral wall of a cylindrical base body on the peripheral wall, the connection body for the steel pipe pile includes a base body weld part for connecting and fixing the peripheral walls with each other on a peripheral wall inner surface side in the state that the peripheral wall end parts opposing at the cut part are brought close or abutted, the maximum outer diameter dimension of the base body is roughly the same as the inner diameter dimension of the hollow steel pipe to be an installation object, and a level line continued in a circumferential direction is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the base body. |
