PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately detecting a defect of a hollow fiber membrane module, without moistening a hollow fiber membrane module in a dry condition and without making a substance harmful for a human body remain.SOLUTION: A leak test method of a hollow fiber membrane module in which a water content ratio of a hollow fiber membrane is 100% or less detects a leak, by ventilating aerosol containing a particle whose size is 0.05 μm or more and 3 μm or less and comprising inorganic salt whose total amount for use is 100 mg or less per 1 mof an intramembranous surface and by measuring a penetration ratio of the particle. |
