PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically driven working vehicle which, in an accelerating operation subsequent to a modulating operation, reduces an assist power supplied from a power-storage device and achieves acceleration equal to or larger than that in a vehicle equipped with a torque converter.SOLUTION: An electrically driven working vehicle includes an engine 1, a motor/generator 5 mechanically connected to the engine 1, a power-generating inverter 6 which controls an amount of power generation by the motor/generator 5, a traveling motor 7 which drives a vehicle body, a power-storage device 3 electrically connected to the power-generating inverter 6 and the traveling motor 7, and a forward/backward traveling direction change means 103 which changes a traveling direction of the vehicle body. The working vehicle also includes a control means 100 which outputs an instruction for increasing the amount of power generation by the motor/generator 5 to the power-generating inverter 6 so long as a voltage of the power-storage device 3 is equal to or lower than a maximum voltage value and a speed signal from the traveling motor 7 indicates a speed equal to or lower than a preset speed because of a traveling direction change made by the forward/backward traveling direction change means 103. |
