PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed apparatus equipped with a feet area lighting unit, which is convenient to use for a user when the user gets out of the bed during night.SOLUTION: A bed apparatus includes: a side arm 4 supported by a side frame 3a of the bed apparatus 1 and configured to prevent a user from falling from the bed apparatus 1; an opening/closing door 5 turnable with respect to the side arm 4 via a hinge; and a lighting unit 30 attached to the side arm 4 or opening/closing door 5, disposed on the hinge, and configured to illuminate an area around the feet of the user when the user gets out of the bed apparatus 1. |
