PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately supply a current to a light emitting device while compensating characteristics of transistors.SOLUTION: In an electro-optical device, in an initialization period, a driving circuit applies an initial potential Vini to one end of a storage capacitor 44 and applies a predetermined potential Vref to the other end thereof. In a compensation period, the driving circuit cancels application of the initial potential Vini thereto and, on the other hand, individually turns ON transistors 122 and 123 in a state that application of the potential Vref is maintained. The driving circuit controls a demultiplexer 30 and causes a storage capacitor 41 to hold a potential of a data signal from the initialization period to the compensation period. In a writing period, the driving circuit turns ON a transmission gate 42 in a state that the application of the potential Vref is canceled. |
