PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact portable key fully preventing a key blade from damaging a solid article existing outside, when brought into physical contact with when a key is not in use.SOLUTION: A key recess is formed in an upper surface on one side of a grip body. Side-by-side type right and left doors are arranged at upper end of the key recess via a pair of right and left spindles. The right and left doors are closed when a key is not in use while a key blade of a key body, whose base end is rotatably arranged at one end of the grip body via a support shaft, is stored in the key recess. Meanwhile, when the key is in use, a trigger piece is displaced in position by resilient force of an resilient member by following the floating of the key blade via a start means arranged in the grip body. When a lock part formed in the trigger piece is removed from engagement parts formed in the right and left doors, the right and left doors are opened by spring force of door springs arranged in the spindles, and thereby, the key blade goes out of the key recess in a portable key. |
