摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally display intermediate gradation in an electro-optic device.SOLUTION: In a control method of an electro-optic device (1), a control process for shifting a pixel (20) to a first intermediate optical state includes: a first control process (phase A) for supplying a first voltage pulse (-VSH) to a pixel electrode (21) up to a first limit optical state; a second control process (phase B) for supplying, after the first control process, a second voltage pulse (VSH) having a reverse polarity with regard to a first voltage pulse to the pixel electrode, up to the first intermediate optical state or an intermediate optical state closer to a second limit optical state than the first intermediate optical state; and a third control process (phase C) for supplying, after the second control process, a third pulse (-VSH) of the same polarity as the first voltage pulse to the pixel electrode up to the first intermediate optical state, if a pixel is in the intermediate optical state closer to the second limit optical state than the first intermediate optical state.
