PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-media service system for providing utilization information for each floor in a building to a portable terminal, and a method for operating the same.SOLUTION: A multi-media service system includes: a portable terminal which, when being positioned in a building, acquires floor information on the building from a server to calculate the altitude, and then grasps a floor corresponding to the calculated altitude from the floor information, and outputs multi-media service for the grasped floor, which has been provided from the server; and the server which provides the portable terminal with the floor information for each altitude of the building and the multi-media service for each floor. |
