摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect disconnection of detection lines on the highest potential side and the lowest potential side of a battery pack.SOLUTION: In a battery pack monitoring device 1, a battery cell voltage detection unit 3 detects the voltage of each battery cell C1-C4 via detection lines L1-L5 connected with both electrodes of each battery cell C1-C4 constituting a battery pack M. A battery pack voltage detection unit 4 detects the voltage of the battery pack M via the detection line L1 on the highest potential side and the detection line L5 on the lowest potential side of the battery pack M. From the negative electrode side toward the positive electrode side of each of the battery cell C1 on the highest potential side and the battery cell C4 on the lowest potential side of the battery pack M, diodes D1, D4 are connected in parallel with the battery cells C1, C4. When the total value of voltages of the battery cells C1-C4 detected by the battery cell voltage detection unit 3 is not equal to the voltage value of the battery pack M detected by the battery pack voltage detection unit 4, a control unit 2 determines that the detection line L1 on the highest potential side or the detection line L5 on the lowest potential side is disconnected.
