PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation management system capable of determining which of an acceleration travel, a deceleration travel, and a coasting travel a vehicle should make in a vehicle travel route from the point of view of a fuel-saving drive.SOLUTION: A vehicle operation management system for a vehicle which travels in a predetermined travel route includes: storage sections 128, 142 which store travel route information including positions, heights, and surface resistance in the travel route for the vehicle; a speed prediction section 102 which predicts transition of future vehicle speeds when performing a coasting travel on the travel route based upon the current position and current speed of the vehicle, and travel route information; and an operation timing calculation section 104 which determines, based upon the speed transition, which of an acceleration travel, a deceleration travel, and a coasting travel the vehicle should make at the current position so that a vehicle speed, after a predetermined time passes, is within a predetermined range. |
