PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing tempered glass satisfying various prescribed properties; and hardly loosing compressive stress, and hardly shrunk by heat even if it is heat-treated in a high temperature.SOLUTION: A tempered glass has a compressive stress layer on a surface, and it contains 45-75% of SiO, 10-25% of AlO, 0-10% of BO, 0-8% of MgO, 0-20% of SrO+BaO, and 0-14% of NaO. "SrO+BaO" is a content of SrO and BaO. |
