PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a more accurate moment of inertia of an engine.SOLUTION: When an engine is motored by a motor with fuel supply to the engine stopped, an input torque Tin to the engine is calculated on the basis of the value obtained by subtracting a motor torque from the product of a moment of inertia Im of the motor multiplied by a rotation angle acceleration dωm of the motor (S130), and a moment of inertia Ie of the engine is obtained using a filtered input torque Tinf and a filtered rotation angle acceleration dωef obtained by applying a band-pass filter for removing the influence of a pumping torque Tp and a friction torque Tf of the engine to the input torque Tin and the rotation angle acceleration dωe of the engine (S200). As a result, even if an error of modeling or a production variation occurs, a more appropriate moment of inertia Ie of the engine can be obtained. |
