PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of efficiently cooling an optical modulation device while reducing its size.SOLUTION: The projector comprises: a light source; an optical modulation device 52G for modulating a luminous flux emitted from the light source according to image information; a cooling fan 72G for sending cooling air; and a duct 8 having an outlet 9 which guides the cooling air and flows out the guided cooling air to the optical modulation device 52G. The outlet 9 is provided with branch walls 10A, 10B which divides the cooling air 100 circulating in the duct 8 and branches the cooling air by bending a circulation direction of the divided cooling air 110 from a first circulation direction to a second circulation direction respectively. |
