PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-type cosmetic exhibiting excellent protecting effects against ultraviolet rays in A region and B region, sustaining the effects over a long time and providing fresh sense of use.SOLUTION: This emulsion-type cosmetic contains the following components (a) to (c): (a) a fine-grain metal oxide covered with a phenyl-modified organopolysiloxane having a specific structure; (b) an ultraviolet absorber absorbing ultraviolet rays in A-region; and (c) an ultraviolet absorber absorbing ultraviolet rays in B-region. Fine-grain titanium oxide and fine-grain zinc oxide are preferable as the fine-grain metal oxide. |
