PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a flap size required for appropriately printing an image on an envelope while suppressing the burden on a user.SOLUTION: The opening width between guides for guiding an envelope in a sheet holding means configured to hold envelopes is detected. On the basis of the detected opening width and a size set for the envelope held by the sheet holding means, the flap size of the envelope is determined. On the basis of the determined flap size, image data is shifted, and an image is printed on the envelope. |
