PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device for a glass melting furnace capable of improving heating efficiency by suppressing a top end of a flame from curling up.SOLUTION: A combustion device for a glass melting furnace is configured as follows: a gas fuel injection port 3 for injecting a gas fuel toward an upper space of a glass melting tank and an oxygen-containing gas discharging port 4 for discharging an oxygen-containing gas toward the upper space of the glass melting tank are installed on a furnace side wall; an upper injection port 3u positioned at an upper place of the oxygen-containing gas discharging port 4, a lower injection port 3s positioned at a lower place of the oxygen-containing gas discharging port 4, and an intermediate injection port 3t positioned at a place corresponding to a formation height of the oxygen-containing gas discharging port 4 are disposed as the gas fuel injection port 3; a distribution factor adjustment means is disposed to change and adjust a distribution factor of the gas fuel to be distributed and jetted from the upper injection port 3u, lower injection port 3s, and intermediate injection port 3t; and the intermediate injection port 3t is disposed inside the oxygen-containing gas discharging port 4. |
