PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required till an initial operation of image processing compared with a case having no this configuration while retaining energy saving properties by selectively switching an appropriate fixing mode to either of quick heating or heat storage without any delay in a job execution request or the like whose number of processing sheets is uncertain, from the outside.SOLUTION: A printer driver side adds data for fixing mode switching determination as information (a data header) having priority over a request such as a print instruction included in a job execution request, first of all, transmits parameter information for the fixing mode switching determination, and then transmits the job execution request (such as image data). An image processing device 10, before developing print data into page units for forming an image, determines a fixing mode, a "quick heating mode" or a "heat storage mode" on the basis of the data for the fixing mode switching determination added to the data header of the job execution request. |
