PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of cutting a magnet body 30 at a desired cutting position.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a magnet piece constituting a magnet body 80 for a field pole by cutting a magnet body 30 at a cutting schedule surface set orthogonal to a longer direction of the magnet body 30, comprises a process of cutting the magnet body 30 while applying a stress from the cutting schedule surface of the magnet body 30 toward an end part 30a of a longer direction of the magnet body 30 and applying a bending stress to the magnet body 30.
