PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method and a decontamination device, capable of reducing the amount of treatment water to be discarded with a compact device.SOLUTION: A decontamination method includes an oxidation step S1 of producing secondary treatment water by oxidizing and eluting chromium attached to an object to be decontaminated immersed in primary treatment water, a reduction step S2 of producing tertiary treatment water by adding an organic acid to the secondary treatment water so as to reduce and elute iron attached to the object to be decontaminated, a removal step S3 of producing quaternary treatment water by removing radioactive nuclides eluted during the elution of chromium and iron from the tertiary treatment water, and a decomposition step S5 of producing quinary treatment water by plasma processing the quaternary treatment water so as to decompose the organic acid. |
