PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus capable of facilitating modification in a system configuration and dealing with failures of a phase detection circuit and the like, and of preventing electromagnetic interference between heating coils at an initial stage of power feeding, without requiring a control circuit controlling a plurality of inverter circuits as a block.SOLUTION: In an induction heating apparatus feeding a power to heating coils arranged closely to each other to heat a heated object 20, by inverter circuits in a plurality of induction heating units, the induction heating units 1a, 1b, ..., and 1n have control circuits 10a, 10b, ..., and 10n controlling inverter circuits 3a, 3b, ..., and 3n. After frequencies and phases of output currents of the inverter circuits 3a, 3b, ..., and 3n of the induction heating units are synchronized via communication means performing mutual communication with the control circuits in the other induction heating units, a power is fed to heating coils 6a, 6b, ..., and 6n to control the plurality of inverter circuits as a block. |
