PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument which, even under any performance condition, is capable of imparting resonant sound most suitable for the performance condition.SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument 1 includes: a keyboard 17; a damper pedal 18; and a CPU 11. The CPU 11 instructs emission of musical sound from the keyboard 17. Further, the CPU 11 instructs impartment of resonant sound to the musical sound from the damper pedal 18. Moreover, when the emission of the musical sound is instructed, and the impartment of the resonant sound to the musical sound is instructed, the CPU 11 selects a degree of the resonance to be imparted to the musical sound according to a prescribed performance condition. In addition, the CPU 11 controls data output of the musical sound imparted with the resonant sound at the selected resonance degree of the musical sound. |
