PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent copy management of content from being null and void by a data transmitter transmitting content data via a short range radio communication being illegally interpolated.SOLUTION: The data transmitter comprises: a radio communication module 1 that consists of an integrated circuit performing a short range radio communication with a counter device; and a transmission controller 2 that executes a computer program under the control of an operating system (OS) to thereby control the radio communication module 1. The data transmitter divides content into two or more transmission packets and determines whether or not copy control of the content is required based on a protection type of the counter device. Each processing for determining a copy bit on the basis of the content is executed by the transmission controller. On the other hand, processing for adding the copy bit to the transmission packet is executed in the radio communication module. Thus, it becomes difficult to analyze the computer program for the transmission controller. |
